Born in the suburbs Harrisburg, I was the youngest of 4 boys, all of which evenutally wrestled at a D1 level. I began competing at 4 years old, finishing high school as the #1 ranked 160lb wrestler in the country with a scholarship to the University of Virginia.

At UVA, I earned admission into the prestigeous McIntire School of Commerce where I concentrated on Finance and Marketing. While injuries cut my wrestling career short, I graduated with the highest GPA of any male athlete in my class.

After school, I worked at a Fintech start up in Arizona and saved up to go on a 6 month trip backpacking all over Southeast Asia. I climbed temples in Myanmar, took a 3 week solo motorcycle trip on the border of Vietnam and China, and got a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Certificate.

When I got home, I had a drive to pick up skills that I could monitize outside of my full time employment. I completed various training in paid ads, SEO, and web development, looking for opportunities to apply the skills. My first clients were a moving company and a general contractor, with early success in lead generation.

Shortly before COVID, I began working at Analytic Partners, where I built, analyzed and presented Marketing Mix Models for Fortune 500 clients. Marketing Mix Models are how companies with millions of dollars across various ad channels determine an ROI for each activity. My handled the full project scope for my clients, starting with data retrieval and cleaning, through modeling, results analysis and presentation.

I left AP to join a software startup founded by a friend from McIntire. As Head of Growth, I built systems to find customers and grow revenue. That experience showed me how SaaS companies grow with better tools, websites, and data, while most local businesses are still stuck in outdated systems. Seeing that gap pushed me to commit full time to Champs.

Over the next 2 years, we grew to 14 brands across 6 industries and 4 states. Technology did not stop improving either, with AI changing the way all businesses operate. I leaned into this, spending countless hours learning how to apply these tools on the local business level. The culmination of which was the development of the Champs App.
